Hanif is one of the founding partners of Ward, Patel & Co, which later became part of an international network firm in 2012 before rebranding to nexa. With over 40 years of experience, he currently serves as an audit and tax compliance partner and oversees the Firm’s daily operations.

Throughout his career, Hanif has worked across all of the Firm’s service areas, catering to clients in a wide range of industries. Apart from his professional responsibilities, he is actively engaged in the Accounting Community. Currently, he holds a position as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB) Taxation Committee.

Previously, Hanif served as a Council Member of ICAB for 9 years and held the position of Vice President for a year. He also contributed his expertise to the Institute’s Accounting & Auditing Standards Committee for over 15 years, where he served as Chairman for 2 years.

Beyond his professional commitments, Hanif prioritizes quality time with his family, indulges in watching cricket, and pursues his outdoor hobbies.
