Staff Accountant I
Job Function
- To conduct the audits of specific assigned areas for Clients of the Firm and report to the Supervisor on any issues identified during the course of the audit.
- Ensuring that work is done in accordance with adopted audit methodology.
- Can be tasked to perform the role of Supervisor on low complexity engagements.
Specifications and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business related subject.
- Actively pursuing a professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA).
- At least 2 to 3 years’ work experience.
- Good communication skills – both written and oral.
- Proactive with staff and Clients and able to work under pressure to meet Clients’ expectations and deadlines
- Proactive in improving own skills through training.
- Represents the Firm in a professional manner at all times through punctuality, appearance and presentation.
- Project management and time management skills.
- Detailed understanding of auditing, accounting and industry technical knowledge including analysis of financial data.
- Research, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Will be required to travel and visit Clients’ offices.
- Will be required to work outside normal working hours at short notice
