Audit Senior I
Job Function & Responsibilites:
- Leading audits in line with adopted audit methodology, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Review working papers prepared by audit staff ensuring standards are adhered to.
- Supervising and mentoring the audit team, promoting a team-oriented environment.
- Maintaining direct daily contact with clients, managing audit processes, and communicating findings and recommendations.
- Apply an in-depth understanding of accounting and auditing concepts to effectively manage and execute engagements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance (or Equivalent)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA or ACCA).
- Four years’ prior progressive experience in practice.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
- A strong personality with good presentation skills.
- Proactive with staff and Clients and able to work under pressure to meet Clients’ expectations and deadlines.
- Well versed with IFRS and ISA.
- Well versed with various accounting software and applications used by different industry sectors and comfortable in a computerised environment.
- An effective manager of time across more than one engagement at a time.
- The ability to identify the training needs of junior team members and provide constructive feedback and appraisals.
- The ability to prepare statutory accounts including consolidations.
- Represents the Firm in a professional manner at all times through punctuality, appearance and presentation.
- Will be required to travel and visit Clients’ offices.
- Will be required to work outside normal working hours at short notice.
